Having started five businesses in her career, the concept for Fast Forward Now was established in 2000 after Angela McLean completed an MBA at Durham University and identified a gap in the market to bring practical experience to support academic class room learning around the provision of small business management and enterprise. Over the last eleven years the company has grown from strength to strength, having established firm roots in the north east and establishing strategic partnerships with the universities in the region, schools, local authorities and businesses. Fast Forward also works on a national and international stage working and supporting universities and business.
At a time when Universities and local authorities are becoming increasingly focused on delivering enterprise and entrepreneurship education to graduates and postgraduates, Fast Forward Now is able to provide a bridge from purely academic teaching and research provided by the institutions to one that incorporates academic understanding and practical experience. Since inception, Fast Forward Now has worked with the biggest Universities in the North East to build, develop and deliver successful enterprise programmes to Executive MBA level, in many cases collaborating with national education organisations such as The National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship and Young Enterprise.
In addition, Fast Forward Now offers bespoke training courses for public, private and third sector organisations.
